Reed’s Metals Celebrates 20 Years of Service

(Brookhaven, Miss.) – In June of 1998, Bernard “Bernie” Reed founded Reed’s Metals in a 200-square-foot portable shed in Lawrence County, Mississippi. On June 1, 2018, Reeds will celebrate 20 years of service by inviting all customers and friends out to the corporate office located in Brookhaven for food, giveaways and of course, free quotes!

Through hard work, dedication, and exceptional customer experience, Reeds has grown into a prominent leader and one of the largest providers in metal roofing, pole barns and pre-engineered steel buildings in the South-Central U.S. Reeds, now a multi-million-dollar metal manufacturer of residential, commercial and industrial buildings, has 8 locations stretching across five states within the U.S., including Southeastern Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas and Missouri.

“This 20 year commemoration means the world to me and the entire Reed’s Metals family. It didn’t happen overnight but we are thankful to every customer, contractor, employee and friend that has helped us grow into what we are today. We invite our customers to come out and celebrate with us as our way of saying ‘thank you’.” - Bernie Reed.

The founding principle of fast, reliable, and quality service is presented to customers as “Order Today, Pick-up Today" providing an edge on competition nationwide. Reed’s offers 7 different profiles in 20 different colors. Its state-of-the-art software and equipment are able to meet the needs of valued customers within code, on time and under budget.

This quality standard has recently gained Reed's an AC472 accreditation by the International Accreditation Service (iAS). This distinction has only been granted to one other company in the state of Mississippi due to rigorous guidelines and audits.

Reed’s Metals employs over 300 knowledgeable employees, produces thousands of metal buildings, and furnishes over five complimentary roofs to deserving families each Christmas. On tomorrow, Reed’s invites you out to celebrate within regular business hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
