Reed’s Metals Quality Standards earns National Accreditation

(Brookhaven, Miss.) – What better way to commemorate 20 years of service than by earning national accreditation. On April 25, 2018, Reed’s Metals was granted an AC472 accreditation by the International Accreditation Service (iAS). This distinction has only been granted to one other company in the state of Mississippi due to rigourous guidelines and audits.

So, what does the accreditation mean for Reed’s Metals customers? AC472 is a high quality standard program specifically written for the metal building industry and encompasses all manufacturing practices and engineering common to the pre-engineered metal building industry.  This is an extensive quality controlled program audited twice a year by a third party to ensure every weld and steel is accurate and correct. It means that Reed’s has gone to great lengths to ensure each customer receives quality products.

“What typically takes some companies more than a year to achieve, we have done in seven months and there’s something to be said about that. Our entire team pulled together to make this happen, especially our lead rep, James Waldrop. It’s more than just a certificate for us. It’s a extended commitment to our customers and the products that we sell. We couldn’t be happier with this distinction, especially since June commemorates 20 years of service for us,” said President and Founder Bernie Reed.
