Needless to say, the events of the last few weeks have been unprecedented; therefore, I wanted to communicate to you, our valued customers, directly about what we are doing to support your business during these trying times. We are actively monitoring updates and guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and communicating our plans among employees about prevention and response measures.
Each of our businesses is continuing to operate, produce, ship and service our customers.
We are following guidelines from the CDC, including all activities related to receiving, manufacturing, and delivering orders. We will continue to monitor government recommendations and keep you updated on how it impacts our business and ultimately you. We are asking our sales reps to contact you by phone to determine how we should best interact with you over the next several weeks as events continue to unfold. At this point we do not foresee any issues with material availability including steel; however, we will continue to monitor that situation closely and if anything changes we will be sure to communicate that to you quickly.
Many of you have already communicated changes in your businesses such as cancellations of regional sales events and shows. We appreciate the proactive communications and if anything else changes in your business that as partners we should know about, we would appreciate knowing of those new changes as well.
